COMMISSIONING ART WORK
Welcome to The Illuminated Letter. The following is a standard of operating
procedures when commissioning customized art.
The goal of the Illuminated Letter is to custom-designed illuminations for those
looking for a one-of-a-kind work of art to commemorate a special occasion,
honor a milestones, or to mark a special event. My illuminated works I hope will
be cherished for years to come.
Rates will vary on the custom illumination projects.This is depending upon the
complexity,size,materials and time I will need to complete your commissioned
custom art work.

BOOKING & DEPOSITS
Please know that all customized illuminated work require research and design
elements that will help it be more personalized. I will discuss the project with you
in a free 30 minute consultation. We can talk about your vision and how I can
help you bring it to reality.
At the end of our first consultation I can and often do assign you homework .
This means that we will both research elements you might wish to have me
incorporate.I often suggest that you choose your top 5 must haves to focus
on.These can be anything from a favorite vacation photo to the flowers uses for a
bridal bouquet. What you choose to feature will be what is most meaning for you
personally. In this way the main focus will shine.To many components often
compete against each other. I strive to help you convey your message so that it is
both meaningful and clear.
After all the details are decided upon I will draft a Letter of Agreement which will
be emailed or mailed to you with a description of the artwork, pricing, delivery
dates, and terms of the project. I require a 50% deposit and 50% upon
completion. Once the deposit has been made and all the parties concerned have
signed the agreement, then this will book the start date.This way all parties
concerned will know what to expect.
CHANGES AND ALTERATIONS
Small touch ups that may be done in a day or two there will be
no additional charges.
Check for misspelling before you give the final draft of the
content you wish to be shown in your custom illuminated work.Use your spell
check.All spelling, grammar, and punctuation must be corrected when you give
me the final draft.The spelling of the names of the people being honored and the
dates is perhaps the most important. I want to the you to be amazed at all your
efforts and the finale results.
Changes and Additional Fees
Larger additions or subtractions from the original
agreement will be subject to a immediate renegotiation and an increase in price.
Please know that all projects take time to plan,order materials, and create the
finish art works.
The 50% deposit will serve as a nonrefundable cancellation fee if the project is
cancelled for any reason.
Your art work will be sent from the local UPS Store with a delivery confirmation
number to track the package is unless other arrangements are made. Clients will
receive notice of shipment and tracking number from the USPS the same day as
shipment. All shipping,packing materials,packing preparation,and insurance
coverage on any piece will be additional. All shipping arrangements plus the
packing of any art works or products sold by Judy Haron and the Illuminated
Letter, will be the sole responsibility of the shipping currier to execute and
deliver safely to all clients.
